Super delicious food and dog friendly. They have a nice patio and they even give a "dog meal" which is complimentary and it has rice and grilled chicken. We had the artichoke dip, fried green tomatoes, cheese grits, isla slaw, black beans and rice and the pasta special. All vegetarian. Great service and atmosphere.

Food was amazing, service was excellent. On the table we got the nachos, the sesame crusted catfish, the chicken curry, and plantains. Everything was great.

Stopped in Brunswick for lunch while driving from Florida to Savannah. A real gem of a restaurant. Creative menu with fresh ingredients. Very attentive servers. Managers (owners?) stopped by the table. Soup of the day was amazing tarragon chicken. Grilled fish of day sandwich was delicious with cheese grits. Charleston Sauté was beautiful, big, & delicious. Amazing homemade desserts. This place is worth hopping off the highway for!

An absolute gem. If you are not eating here you are missing out BIG TIME. Don't underestimate this small, bohemian shack. Its colorful, laid back vibe serves next level southern food that will knock your socks off. This was the best catfish I have ever had. So fresh - as if they just pulled it out of the water. It had a perfectly crispy batter and a moist and even slightly sweet center. And it was served on a bed of Asian style slaw that complemented the fish exceptionally with a perfectly cooked serving of rice. Amazing! The fried green tomato appetizer will blow you away as well. Crunchy, juicy, with an incredibly rich marinara on one side, and creamy cheesey grits on the other. So good! The fried okra is also highly recommended. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Can't wait to come back!

A hidden gem of Brunswick. This is off the beaten path and well known to the locals. The chile relleno was flavorful and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. The beans and slaw were perfect to tone down the heat. Normally curries can be gritty but this one was silky smooth with a great depth of flavor. I wanted to lick the plate. The peach pound cake was warm and toasty with just the right amount of bourbon sauce. I highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

My daughter and her family moved to Brunswick at the beginning of the year, and this was one of the restaurants she really wanted to try. We ended up sitting outside on the patio, which during the summertime can be quite warm. However, we did find a little shade near the back of the patio. Overall, the service was good, but the food was great. We ended up ordering a number of items and shared them so that we could sample more of their menu. We shared the Calypso nachos. They offered a unique blend of flavors, including melting Mexican cheeses, black beans, corn, jerk chicken, pineapple salsa, and guacamole. My daughter tried the Bahamian chicken curry dish as her entrée. It tasted fresh and flavorful with sweet potato & kale in a coconut milk curry broth over fragrant jasmine rice. I ordered the pimento cheeseburger as my entrée. It's a juicy 8 oz. burger with grilled onions & their chunky melting pimiento. It was cooked a perfect medium, rare, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in quite a long time. Based upon all of the great foods we tried, we would definitely consider returning and recommending this restaurant. Cheers

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Indigo Coastal Shanty. We arrived around 5:15 p.m. Parking and seating were easy and quick. My husband had the salmon dish and I opted for the burger. I loved my sandwich, and my husband did, too--as he ended up having a taste. According to him, the salmon dish was good, but the burger was better. Very friendly and attentive staff! I'd return.

Saw this place on their episode Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and wow it was worth the drive. The Asian flavors on the catfish all worked so well together. The service was very good!

Drawn here because of the great reviews. Love here because of everything! Walked in to this quiet little shanty is like wandering in straight from a secluded path from the beach. It's romantic, intimate and eclectic. They greet everyone like they know you. The waitress was an adorable, sweet and friendly young lady that made us feel like regular guests. We really couldn't decide from so many delicious items on the menu. We chose the special of the day, the Arepa Stack and the Sesame Crusted Catfish and decided to share. The catfish was absolutely amazing. It was light and flakey with a crunchy thin crust. The Isla Slaw was full of Asian flavor from sesame oil. It was a refreshing contrast to the rich sweet flavor of the Plum Miso Sauce. The meal was the best catfish I've ever had. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Now, the Arepa...Just Wow!!! Neither one of us have had an arepa before. I don't know if I'll ever want to have it again, because nothing will match this. It was a thick corn pancake filled with grilled corn. It was almost creamy on the inside and the rim was crispy. It was topped with perfectly cooked shrimp and covered in a rich flavorful aioli then dusted with a jalapeño relish. It's also served with yummy black beans and rice and a perfect dollop of sour cream. We both agreed this was our favorite. If I lived locally I'd say never go here. That way when we went we'd always have a table. lol. And I promise, we'd be here regularly.
